Need for Training
Finally, an organization’s stability and sustainability is all about budgets, planning and strategy! Organization Annual Budgets, when closely linked with the Organization Strategy (often expressed in 5-year plans), help management to implement and actualize the Strategy. While Budgets and Programmatic Planning help organizations manage short term and annual operations, conscious linkage with strategy is all part of governance; - saying what we are going to do and then going ahead to execute it ! Both the Budgeting process and Budgets should be built to support the strategy and hence the need for the two to be directly linked.
In response to the need to empower key staff in strategy, planning and budgeting processes, Asset Africa has organized a high level 2 day workshop to discuss the role of Planning and Budgeting in Strategy Implementation process. The Workshop will give participants an appreciation of Budgeting process as a Strategy Implementation process. The Workshop discusses best practices in Budgeting to ensure that organization Strategy is embedded in the Planning and Budgeting process. Participants who go through this 2 day program are able to ensure their organizations put in place Budgeting Processes that embed Strategic objectives.
